Auditor Harmon Announces New Appointment to Executive Staff

FRANKFORT, Ky. (July 28, 2023) Mike Harmon, Kentucky's 47th Auditor of Public Accounts, today announced the appointment of Noah Wilson as IT Director for the Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts (APA).

“I'm very pleased to promote Noah to lead our IT department," said Auditor Harmon. “He has done an outstanding job since starting with APA two years ago, including helping modernize our systems and develop APA's new website. We appreciate Noah as he takes on this new role."​

“Thank you to Auditor Harmon and the rest of his leadership team for giving me this opportunity," Wilson said. “Our office strives toward bringing accountability and transparency of local and state government to all Kentuckians, and I'm humbled to be part of that effort through management of our IT system."

Wilson began his IT career in 2007 and started working in state government in 2011, holding positions with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS), Commonwealth Office of Technology (COT), and Kentucky Educational Television (KET) before joining APA in 2021.

Wilson is a graduate of Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Computer Science with Network Option, and he currently holds an active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification.
